Hello Everyone!
I hope that you enjoyed your four day weekend! Happy Belated Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
Today, the fifth grade students were very lucky to have Mrs. Brita Hampton from the Jefferson Lab (my teacher) come into our classroom. She is a fabulous teacher filled with a lot of energy! She talked to our class about what scientist do and the Jefferson Lab. Then she had the students work on a lab called “Design and Engineering: How many dice can an aluminum foil boat float?”. They all did an excellent job and one group was even able to float 18 dice!!! Make sure that you ask them about their lab and the prize that she brought for each of them.
I wanted to give everyone a heads up that we will not be having Mass Tomorrow at 10 AM.
